Debbie, a native San Franciscan, as a child and young adult studied formally in Tap, Ballet, and Jazz under the direction of Stanley and Pat Kahn, of Mason-Kahn Studios in San Francisco. She continued her training with Berle Davis of Dance Arts Center in Redwood City, CA. Debbie performed in numerous musicals with Broadway By the Bay, in San Mateo,” including Singing In The Rain, Funny Girl, 7 Brides for 7 Brothers, and My Fair Lady! Debbie has been teaching Tap since 1990 in the Bay Area, and most recently here in the Foothills at Studio 4 School of Dance! Debbie continues to stress Theatre-Style Tap Technique based on the Stan Kahn method. Now living in the foothills, Debbie loves being able to share this technique with both “Young” and “Young at Heart” at Studio 4!
