Elizabeth Ekstrum – Hip Hop Instructor at Studio 4 School of Dance
At twenty years old, Elizabeth Ekstrum has been teaching Hip Hop at Studio 4 School of Dance for nearly six years. She has been an active performer and choreographer with Studio 4 Dance Theater since 2012, participating in the annual Spring Showcases and contributing to productions like the Teddy Bear Tea in 2013.
Elizabeth has choreographed a variety of dynamic pieces for the Spring Showcase, including “Thrift Shop/Can’t Hold Us” (2013), “What You Know” (2014), “How I Feel” (2014), “Hello” (2015), “Show Out” (2015), “Of the Night” (2016), and “Does Ya Mama Know?” (2017).
During her time at Mountain Oaks Charter School, Elizabeth attended Columbia College at the age of seventeen. Upon graduation, she earned three Associate’s Degrees: Associate of Arts for Transfer in English, Associate of Arts Emphasis in English, and Associate of Arts in Liberal Studies Emphasis in Elementary Teaching Preparation.
Outside of dance, Elizabeth enjoys reading, writing, playing games, and spending quality time with her husband.
